Fabio Besti è designer interdisciplinare e ricercatore indipendente. Ottiene la laurea magistrale in Design del Prodotto per l'Innovazione al Politecnico di Milano, realizzando un progetto sulle tecnologie indossabili per l'azienda californiana Jawbone. Per Fondazione Giannino Bassetti è consulente strategico per il design, per i progetti legati al futuro della mobilità e per le attività accademiche. Assieme a Fondazione ha creato e condotto corsi, workshop e lectures per scuole e università come Politecnico di Milano e Domus Academy.
Dirige a Milano il suo studio, con il quale mette a servizio di realtà nazionali e internazionali un approccio multidisciplinare del design, integrando discipline quali branding, storytelling, progettazione digitale e design strategico. Con la sua attività ha collaborato con prestigiosi marchi e organizzazioni come Jawbone, Benetton, Corriere della Sera, Museo Leonardiana, NicePeopleAtWork e Giunti Editore.
