As China\u2019s economy has continued to develop, the standard of living of it\u2019s residents has increased drastically. A byproduct of this increase in quality of life is the change of shopping habits, a practice that has been gaining popularity across the country. Unmanned Store \u2013 DS <\/em>aims at improving the experience of unmanned shops aimed at selling snacks in the Netease HangZhou Park. Through case studies investigating the advent of cashier-free stores, from self-checkout to new Amazon and Walmart stores that are void of any type of checkout, the work investigates how to best create an environment that best answers the wants and needs of its customers and delves into how said environment should be managed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
