This post offers just a snapshot of events and themes that we carry forward into 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Projects<\/strong><br \/>2022 saw the final conferences and publication of all findings and deliverables of both the TRANSFORM and the FETA &#8211; Fair Energy Transition for All project.<\/p>\n<p>TRANSFORM<br \/>As regular readers might recall, the aim of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transform-project.eu\/\" title=\"TRANSFORM project\">TRANSFORM project<\/a> was to develop and put experimental approaches into practice that involve the citizen in regional research and innovation governance to achieve more open, inclusive and democratic territorial development. Alongside the Regional Government of Lombardy, the Foundation has developed <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/12\/transform_in_lombardia_i_risul.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">techniques for participatory research agenda setting<\/a> and public deliberation for policy making that can be used across diverse forms of governance <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/02\/la_versione_italiana_del_rappo.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">long into the future<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>FETA<br \/>The Bassetti foundation held the role of Policy Partner for Italy in the Fair Energy Transition for All (<a href=\"https:\/\/fair-energy-transition.eu\/\" title=\"FETA Fair energy transition\">FETA<\/a>) initiative, engaging a group of experts in the field of energy poverty and energy transition to <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/12\/fair_energy_transition_for_all.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">develop policy recommendations and solutions<\/a> for national decision makers based on the concerns and experiences of more vulnerable members of society.<\/p>\n<p>MOSAIC<br \/>The Foundation continues its participation through 2023 as Deputy Coordinator in the EU H2020 project <a href=\"http:\/\/mosaic-mission.eu\/\" title=\" MOSAIC - Mission-Oriented Swafs to Advance Innovation through Co-creation\">MOSAIC &#8211; Mission-Oriented Swafs to Advance Innovation through Co-creation<\/a>. <br \/>MOSAIC is a research project coordinated by Stickydot whose aim is to study, test and assess how solutions to challenges such as leading big cities towards climate neutrality can be made possible and enhanced by actively involving all concerned actors through sound methodological approaches. In particular, MOSAIC focuses on understanding how the full role of citizens in co-innovation can be met and fairly rewarded.<br \/>To do so, MOSAIC is conducting research activities as well as designing and implementing co-creation processes in two pilot cities: Milan and G\u00f6teborg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shaping the Next Generation<\/strong><br \/>2022 also saw the Foundation drive the training and education aspects of its mission forward, hosting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionebassetti.org\/tag\/longevita_e_innovazione\" title=\"FGB Focus\">series of seminars<\/a> on longevity and innovation jointly promoted with Fondazione Ravasi-Garzanti that saw Director of the UK National Innovation Center for Ageing Nic Palmarini and interdisciplinary sociologist Chiara Saraceno deliver the first two of an ongoing series of presentations.  The theme of longevity was also explored through two interventions offered by the Foundation at the Milan Polytechnic School of Design, an Ambassador course entitled &#8216;A Society for All Ages; longevity-driven Design&#8217; and through coaching on the final synthesis course &#8216;Human Design&#8217; led by Professor and Designer Giulio Ceppi.<br \/>The Foundation also collaborated with Politik\u00e9, the school of politics run by Confcooperative Lombardia and Irecoop, offering <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/03\/making_networks_happen_coopera.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">workshops<\/a> and a host of other interventions all aiming at <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/05\/lora_della_cooperazione.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">constructing industrial leaders for the future<\/a>, also developing an initiative dedicated to <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/05\/comunita_di_pratiche_insieme_a.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">communities of practice<\/a> within the non-profit Sector with partners Eureka, Stiima-CNR, Milan Polytechnic and ComoNext.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Books and Reports<\/strong><br \/>We also held several book presentations in Milan, hosting (amongst others) <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/07\/i_figli_dellalgoritmo_incontro.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">Veronica Barassi<\/a> and <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/12\/davide_e_golia_incontro_con_la.html\">Enrico De Corso<\/a>, and published a series of book reviews, addressing issues from <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/10\/book_review_responsible_innova.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">responsible innovation in health<\/a> to the use of <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/09\/the_arduous_road_to_revolution.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">social media during times of revolution<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/02\/toward_responsible_innovation_.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">meditation as a tool for the achievement of responsible innovation<\/a>. <br \/>Alongside the familiar reviews of the <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/09\/volume_9_issue_1_of.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">Journal of Responsible Innovation<\/a> the website also carried reviews and reports from seminars on <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/06\/some_take-aways_from_the_susta.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">sustainable research<\/a>, alternative <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/06\/resources_from_voedsel_anders.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">food resources<\/a>, <a href=\"\/it\/focus\/2022\/10\/alla_scoperta_dei_risultati_di.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">Eldertech<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/08\/fostering_responsible_computin.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">responsible computing<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/11\/netherlands_environmental_asse.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">delta and river basin management<\/a>, not to mention an open lecture from <a href=\"\/en\/focus\/2022\/12\/rene_von_schomberg_prospects_o.html\" title=\"FGB Focus\">Ren\u00e9 von Schomberg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>A busy year indeed<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class='image'><a href='\/en\/focus\/2023\/01\/notes_for_look_back_our_2022.html'><img src='\/en\/focus\/img\/Look-back-2022-130.jpg' width='130' height='130' border='0' alt='Looking back to our 2022' title='Looking back to our 2022' \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class='info'>\n<div class='vedianche'>Read also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionebassetti.org\/tag\/looking_back\" title=\"FGB Focus\">all the overviews on the back years<\/a><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":19,"featured_media":30468,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"mc4wp_mailchimp_campaign":[],"footnotes":""},"categories":[5295,2793,2763,5293,5294],"tags":[3933,4179,4693,4128,4018,4036,5343],"class_list":["post-30467","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-governance_and_statehood_en","category-innovation_poiesis_intensive","category-live_archive","category-technoscience_and_life_sciences_en","category-transformation_of_business_en","tag-redazione_fgb_en","tag-innovation_society_en","tag-looking_back_en","tag-open_culture_en","tag-report_en","tag-responsibility_and_innovation_en","tag-this_web_site_en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
