{"id":18010,"date":"2016-11-05T12:07:25","date_gmt":"2016-11-05T11:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondazionebassetti.org\/non_categorizzato\/2016\/11\/david_guston_in_fondazione_bas_2"},"modified":"2023-12-03T17:46:49","modified_gmt":"2023-12-03T16:46:49","slug":"david_guston_in_fondazione_bas_2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fondazionebassetti.org\/en\/live_archive\/2016\/11\/david_guston_in_fondazione_bas_2","title":{"rendered":"David Guston in Bassetti Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Six years on from his previous visit to Milan, the Bassetti Foundation is honoured to host Professor <strong>David Guston<\/strong>, Founder of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cns.asu.edu\/\" title=\"CNS ASU\">Centre for Nanotechnology in Society<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/cns.asu.edu\/viri\" title=\"VIRI\">Virtual Institute for Responsible Innovation<\/a> (of which we are members alongside collaborating with him on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/action\/journalInformation?show=aimsScope&amp;journalCode=tjri20\" title=\"Journal of Responsible Innovation\">Journal of Responsible Innovation<\/a>) and also the <a href=\"https:\/\/sfis.asu.edu\/\" title=\"School for the Future of Innovation in Society\">School for the Future of Innovation in Society<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>In 2010 <a href=\"archi_vivo\/2010\/07\/governance_preventiva\" title=\"FGB Focus\">Guston presented<\/a> the work of the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes and  the Center for Nanotechnology in Society, here in Via Barozzi.<\/p>\n<p>Since then a lot of things have changed and evolved, such as the networks and collaborations between the various communities of study around responsible innovation, and also within the Bassetti Foundation, that has become a &quot;Foundation of Participation&quot;, able to bring external organizations whose philosophies and missions reflect those of the Foundation into its organizational structure.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time the Bassetti Foundation has become a relavent actor within the debate around themes surrounding RRI at the European level.
