World Futures

The Journal of The General Evolution Research Group
www.globalcensus.org
is going to host a special issue devoted to:

"Communication Management Strategies for the 21st Century: Proposals and
Scenarios"

All the ICA members - independently from the division/s they belong to -
are invited to submit a paper concerning at least one of the following
areas:
communication management and social change; strategic planning of
communication campaigns (institutional, for profit or not for profit);
advanced strategies of public relations; projecting, programming ,
implementing and assessing communication campaigns; communication
management applied to relevant subjects (for example intrapersonal
communication strategies to develop self awareness and conscience, health
care, intercultural dynamics, political elections, technological and
multimedia development, the role of images in the multicultural scenarios).

NOTES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
it is a condition of acceptance by the editors of a typescript for
publication that the publisher automatically acquires the English language
copyright of the typescript throughout the world.


ILLUSTRATIONS
All illustrations (graphs, fine art, photographs ) should be numbered with
consecutive Arabic numbers, have descriptive captions, and be mentioned in
the text. The drawings must be suitable for direct reproduction.
Photographs intended for halftone reproduction must be good glossy prints of
maximum contrast. Clearly label each figure with the author's name and
figure number. Figure captions should be typed on a separate sheet and
included with the typescript.

REFERENCES AND NOTES
Literature references and notes should follow the Chicago Manual of Style.
References should the listed alphanumerically at the end of the article
using the following format:
Article:
Banaliy, B., II, 1987, The Characteristics and Acquisition of Evolutionary
Competence. Morf. Futures: The Journal of General Evolution, 23: 123-144.
Book:
Baterson, W., 1909. Method's Principles of Heredity, The
University Press, Cambridge 1930.
In-text references:
Jones and Carter (1980) report that....
(Smith, 1978)
(Piaget, 1980, 190).

Endnotes are indicated in the text by superscript figures and collected on
a single page at the end of the paper in numerical order. They should be
kept to a minimum containing relevant material that cannot otherwise be
accommodate in the text.


PROOFS
Authors will receive proofs (including illustrations) by airmail for
correction, which must be returned to the editor within 48 hours of
receipt. The full postal address of the person who will be responsible for
reading the proofs should be included with the typescript: this will ensure
that proofs are not delayed in the post.
Reprints: the publisher will supply 25 reprints of each paper free of
charge. Additional reprints may be ordered by completing the appropriate form
to be supplied to each author.

AUTHOR'S ALTERATIONS
Authors should be forewarned that papers submitted to the
publisher are considered final and ready for publication. Proof are sent to
authors for the purpose of making minor typographical corrections only major
revisions should be done prior to submission for publication. Author
alterations can be very costly and time consuming. For that reason we charge
alteration costs exceeding 10% of original composition costs directly to the
authors themselves.
